Dwight D. Eisenhower wrote, “Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed — else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die.”
The freedoms we enjoy are the responsibility of each blessed to receive them. Throughout history, in all lands, and nations around the world, there is always one common thread individuals seek to receive, freedom.
Often the day is filled with busy lists of tasks, noises of voices needing our attention, and the daylight elapsed before we have time to pause.

For this moment in time, pause. There is not one individual without sin, no country without mistakes, and always a way to rise to overcome. History describes the many times overcoming trials, tribulations, and terrible storms. Our nation needs to return to repair the foundation built for life, liberty, one nation under God, peace, and most importantly, safety and protection for ALL.
Prayers for the direction of our country for all of our leaders are needed. Emotions, Ego, Power and Politics are driving decisions at this time. Take a step back away from the daily doses and identify what needs we have as a country united, not divided.
My faith is my compass; my heart is full of love to encourage as God has directed, and the word of God fills my mind with truth to fuel my journey. Courage is provided to each of us who have accepted Jesus to defend the rights and the one nation under God we are blessed to have.
Praise God daily for all you have today. Please remember more than one person paid the price with their life for you to have the freedoms you enjoy. Looking back in history is for learning, not for judgment. Judgment has been done, and lives have paid the price with penalties and rewards. Just as we drive our cars with the broad windshield in front of us with a wide view of possibilities, we look at our future similarly. Minimizing our lives with a rearview mirror limits the capabilities we have.
Be the solution daily in a nation that needs you as we look through the windshield of building a stronger foundation of one nation under God.
