LEAD to Achieve
You have many choices of themes for your school year. @Jon Gordon has The Energy Bus, which I have used as a school district theme. I think you can find many examples to use, but what matches what you see as the vision for your school this year. What is needed to kick off the year with the necessary energy, a feeling of safety, and letting everyone know this is where all feel good about being there. What is the message you want to send?
Empathy, Cheerful, Kindness
What words will you focus on as you identify a common language, words to build a strong foundation, and those that need to be part of what we say and do? An activity to do together is a timed quick write. Take three minutes to write all of the words you think would be the best to add to our common language and skills to work on this year. Then take time to review the lists to see what words showed up the most! This also helps to get an idea of the core values of the group.

Routines-Do we need them?
Do you have a daily routine? What does it consist of? It is interesting to find out what routines we develop and get into the habit of doing each day. How does it work for you when the routine is interrupted, changed, or missed completely? Do we need to do everything that is part of our routine? Why? Why not?
What do you……
What do you want people to remember about you?
Is it important to you for people to remember you?
If you could do one thing before your life journey is complete what would it be?
