The Sale
Jon Gordon and Alex Demczak just released the new best-selling book The Sale, The Number One Strategy to Build Trust & Create Success. I have had the privilege to be part of their launch team which means I received a copy of the book digitally to read and prepare for the official day.
I want to share my love of reading books written by Jon Gordon. Hidden Blessings
Daniel Bauer is the author of MasterMind, Unlocking Talent Within Every School Leader. I followed Danny and then talked with him to learn more about this leader. He is from my home state, and we had some things in common.
He recently sent an email out to describe a situation that led him to the place he is today. He refers to his experience as a Blessing to pursue his calling. I agree with him. Often we can reflect back, and find hidden blessings that changed our direction to lead us to our true passion and calling. We have more to discuss this week!
Stretch to Reach and Save
Arbor Day is celebrated each year on the last Friday of every April. April 29, 2022, marked the National Arbor Day celebration and 150th Anniversary! The Arbor Day Foundation is celebrating its 50th Anniversary, and it is not too late to become a member. I became a member when we first moved to the country 31 years ago. We received ten trees for our membership, and then a farmer friend gave us a few of his to add to ours. They stretch around the outer edge of our property. It is incredible to know we have been able to watch them grow over the years! My then five-year-old daughter pulled her wagon to help me water each one of them across our almost three acres. I have some new ones coming this year, and they are a little different to add to the property. I know the next generation will enjoy these as well!

Sunday, May 8, 2022, is Mother’s Day! I know many will be preparing this week to celebrate the most influential women in your life. Mothers are extraordinary and unique and share so much love for their children (grandchildren, great-grandchildren). It is important to take the time on a special day to celebrate each one for all they do for you and others. I know many women who are “mothers” to many who are not their children, but they care for them. Give them all the love they need to be encouraged on this special day!
