When is Enough, Enough?

Way before you get to this point it was enough.

Time is valuable and what we do with it is so critical. However, after talking with a few leaders, I was reminded you have many distractions and interruptions you can not control. However, you can influence the time it takes, the interactions, the resolution, and the responses.

In this busy world, we have, it isn’t easy to find time to refuel and recharge ourselves as leaders. To serve others and ourselves, we must take time out. If you are reading this, I thank you for sharing space and time with me. I will pull from other sources I believe will bring value to you. Seth Godin is one of the sources I will often refer to as I follow

Seth has a quick way of helping you see more time is not always the solution. I believe it is how you spend time that brings value to what you do.

Read daily for at least 15 minutes. You do not always have to read something about the work you do. Read something fun! Go into classrooms and engage with students in their learning. If they are reading a novel, read it too!

Some people say the work is never done, true. However, the individuals doing the work may be done. Enough is enough when your body, mind, and spirit tell you to try again tomorrow.
